Then I think you should try wearing the opposing teams' best player's jersey & #. That should do the trick if you really are bad luck.

I like the idea of an interactive list. Not to keep someone from adopting their favorite player, but more of a visual reminder of who needs to be adopted. This is for the athletes too!
