How is Adam doing on this show; I listen to him every morningon the radio; he replaced Howard for us West Coasters...
He brags about how good he is, but I never watch; Is he actually good?

'Dancing With the Stars': Carolla to be cycled out?
By JULIE HINDS • FREE PRESS POP CULTURE WRITER • April 8, 2008
Thank goodness for Adam Carolla, who always provides something to talk about on “Dancing With the Stars.” This week, it was his unicycle-riding stunt during the paso doble, which earned him the lowest score Monday night and makes him the likely person to be kicked off tonight.
Dang, does this mean we’ll never get to see his pogo-stick samba?
Otherwise, it was an evening where the judges unleashed a bunch of tens, even though most of the performances were less than perfect (OK, Kristi Yamaguchi, your paso doble was the best, as usual. We get it. You’re flawless).
The best recovery of the evening was by grid star Jason Taylor, who stumbled during his sexy Viennese waltz, but still tied Yamaguchi with a score of 29, mainly because the judges decided to overlook it. We’d call him a teacher’s pet, but he’s in the NFL and could hurt us.
Chest-baring honors went to Cristian de la Fuente, who combined a shirtless costume with a Marc Antony beard for his paso doble. His frequent shouts of “Hah!” were almost as distracting as Cheryl Burke’s pleather bikini gown, but he still scored a respectable 26.
The unintentional joke of the night was uttered by Carrie Ann Inaba when she complimented Priscilla Presley for adding drama to the waltz with her face. Given the rumors of Presley’s botched plastic surgery, it wasn’t the most tactful thing to say. To add to her woes, she only got a 22 after she and partner Louis Van Amstel did a forbidden lift.
Mario oozed energy during a paso doble to “Higher Ground” that was more entertaining than the 24 it received. Then Len Goodman ruined the moment by saying he has underpants older than Mario. Too much information, Len, and too little spring cleaning.
Marlee Matlin nabbed a 24 for hers and made Inaba cry with its emotional wallop. Shannon Elizabeth got a 28 for hers, but nobody even reached for a handkerchief.
And then there was Marissa Jo Winokur, a.k.a. the Comeback Kid, who rebounded from last week’s poor performance with the paso doble, her first dance of the season that wasn’t bouncy and boring. Hated her Snow White outfit, loved her partner Tony Dovolani’s decision to follow Cristian’s lead and go shirtless.
So what’s to be learned from Monday’s episode? Unicycles, no. Chest muscles, yes.
