Oklahoma State basketball recruit Keiton Page of Pawnee hasn't changed his mind about attending the school, even though there will be a new head coach next season.
"I'm still 100 percent committed to the Cowboys and OSU," Page said in a telephone interview Tuesday, when news broke that Sean Sutton won't return as head coach next season.
Page, a 5-foot-10 senior guard, set a single-season Oklahoma scoring record last season, averaging 44.4 points per game. He led Pawnee to the Class 2A state championship.
Page committed to the Cowboys as an underclassman and signed in November. He said he looked forward to playing for Sutton and the current coaching staff but understood that "things like this happen in college sports."
As for the future, Page said he didn't know what to expect regarding the coaching situation at OSU.
"Just waiting to see what's going to happen," he said.
