Hope everyone's ok! Waiting to see how it's going to hit Stillwater, don't really feel like waking up to someone pulling me out of the rubble tomorrow morning... :D

After watching weather reports all night, I can't help but think how much fun it would have been to play the GARY ENGLAND DRINKING GAME!!

Pregame
1. Everyone selects a storm chaser other than Val Castor. Every time Gary talks to your storm chaser, you take one drink. Take two drinks every time we see footage from your storm chaser. Take four drinks if your storm chaser says "tornado on the ground."

2. Everyone selects a county other than Pottawatomie County. Every time Gary mentions your county, you take one drink. Take two drinks every time we see footage from your county. Take four drinks if a tornado touches down in your county.

One drink
1. Take one drink every time Gary says the following:
"Hook echo" | "Updraft" | "Metro" | "Doppler radar" | "Wall cloud" | "Ranger 9" | "Underground" | "Mobile home"

2. When Gary gives a list of counties, take one drink for every county in the list.

3. Take one drink every time Gary interrupts a program. Take one drink if Gary says "You're not missing any of [program name]." Take one drink when Gary says "We'll keep you advised."

Two drinks
1. Take two drinks every time Gary says the following:
"Baseball-sized hail" | "Waterloo Road" | "Pottawatomie County" | "Deer Creek High School"

2. Take two drinks every time Gary mentions the following towns:
Altus | Burns Flat | Dill City | Gotebo | Hydro | Lookeba | Meeker | Mulhall | Oktaha | Olustee | Shattuck | Slaughterville | Tryon | Vici | Waukomis | Wayne (or Payne) | Weleetka | Wetumkah

3. Take two drinks every time Gary talks to Val Castor.

Three drinks
1. Take three drinks if we see footage from Val Castor.

2. Take three drinks if we see footage from Pottawatomie County.

3. Take three drinks if Gary mentions the following:
"Immediate tornado precautions" | "National Weather Service" | "Mesocyclone" | "Portable Radio" | "Take shelter" | "Tornado warning in effect until ..."

Four drinks
1. Take four drinks if Ranger 9 must land to refuel.

2. Take four drinks if Gary issues his own tornado warning, not recognized by the NWS or says the following:
"Will someone please answer that phone?" | "Do you see power flashes?"

3. Take four drinks if a shirt-less tornado victim is interviewed.

Finish your drink
1. Finish your drink if someone uses the word tornado as a verb or if Gary mentions the nearest cross streets to you.

2. If Gary says "We've lost Val," pour a little out for your homies and finish your drink.

Sounds like a recipe for alcohol poisoning in even the lightest storm!!!

You would have gotten drunk on "hook echo" alone! Man, there were a lot of those last night! I was up until 3am, mainly to see if it would put down a tornado in Stillwater, as I have family there. I was going to call if it did.

I live in nw OKC and after the initial storm finally passed I was ready for bed (it was 1:30am). Then a hook echo developed just north of me; it was west of Mercy Hosptial and a bit to the north! The sirens went off but only for about 5 mins. Getting up at 6am this morning was hard (to get others off to school & work!) and I'm ready for a nap before round 2 gets here later today!

Everyone be weather wise and stay safe today!

Bev.

Looks like we get round 2 later today.

Man I missed Oklahoma weather!! I watched channels 4 & 9 last night until about 1am this morning. That supercell was wicked watching it rotate on the radar.

That was one hell of a storm. Thankfully I woke up around midnight and was able to drug our yellow lab to help keep him calm. However, due to the high amount of lightening our black lab and beagle were not too happy and kept me up (well that along with the sound of hail pounding the house).

Went down stairs to sleep thinking it would be quieter down there, but due to all the windows it was even louder than it was upstairs!

Nothing severe here out west where it all started. At least now here in Clinton. Alot of rain, pea sized hail. I hear W'ford got POUNDED with some very large hail. Large hail not good for me. Med hail great for me.

Looks like the Valencia addition in Edmond had some damage. I'm glad everyone is ok.

We got some nickel size hail at our house in Stillwater but for the most part it was pea size hail, rain and wind. Really weird... we could see the lightening flashes but not much thunder with that storm.
