Time for a smoking cessation update !!!

5 weeks. Smoke FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made it a lot easier for myself to quit when I decided that I would not only do it for myself and my wife and all my family. But, when I decided to do it for OSUMimi, it became a lot easier.

Quiting cigarettes is one of the best things I've done. It never occurred to me how bad I smelled after smoking. Now, that smell drives me crazy. Thanks to my wife, I am smoke free. We made a deal back in 04. She votes for President Bush, and I drop the smokes. It was hard for her being a democrat, but even harder for me to go through with my end of the deal. But being a man of my word, I quit. Almost cold turkey.

Thanks all.

I do, on occasion, have a dip of snuff when I'm drinking or stressed. I'm not trading one for the other. Besides, I make teeth for a living, I know the damage that it can cause. You'd be amazed though, smoking is as bad if not worse on teeth and gums than is dipping.
