KSU/ND game on ESPN right now. Vitale is lending his "genius" to the program and came up with this gem.

Vitale's plan for kids jumping to NBA early is that the NBA decides who would be the first rounders and they are allowed to turn pro out of high school. Then all the other kids would have to go to college and would want to stay in college for three years.

What kid that thinks he has the stuff to play in the NBA wants to stay for three years?

The owners of NBA teams are telling an 18 year where and how long he has to play before he can get paid to play in America. Is this America?

I agree with Jonno........Put it on mute. That is about the only way I can stand watching a game where he is a commentator.

Dick Vitale is like:

Fingernails across a blackboard.
That sound of screaming tires you hear just before a crash.
A record player stuck on the same spot on a record (old folks thing)
A nagging wife with a shrill voice.

Can't think of any more now but you get the picture. He should be forcibly retired.

That's just inhumane there. I'd rather hear fingernails on a chalkboard or tires screeching before a wreck... especially if it's right into that dang schooner mobile.
