for all that is wondering

Davidson College is a private liberal arts college for 1,700 students in Davidson, North Carolina, USA. Both the town and college were named for Brigadier General William Lee Davidson, a Revolutionary War commander. The land for Davidson College came from Brig. Gen. Davidson's estate, a large portion of which was donated by his son.

The College was established by Presbyterians in 1837, though as recently as 2005 it has adjusted and rearticulated its now largely nominal religious affiliation. According to its Board of Trustees, the dedication of the college "extends beyond the Christian community to the whole of humanity and necessarily includes openness to and respect for the world’s various religious traditions."[2] Majors are offered in over twenty fields, as are several minors and self-designed interdisciplinary options. The college has graduated 23 Rhodes Scholars and is consistently ranked in the top ten liberal arts colleges in the country by U.S. News and World Report magazine.

Someone double check this but a buddy of mine at work says that their guard, Curry, wasn't highly recruited because he was only 5'11" coming out of high school even though he was a damn fine shooter. Then, he grew 4 inches his first year of college. If so, sucks for everyone else who got caught up in the "numbers".

That's what the announcers said during one of his earlier round games. I think the number was 5'8" though. I think he is only 6 even still.

They are also the same team who hasn't lost a game since Dec. 21st. And that game was to NC State AT NC State by 1 point. They sure do look like a pretty solid team.

Yahh, pretty dumb considering genetics. His pop was one of the all time best pure shooters in the NBA. I would've taken him for that reason alone. But when you consider Wake Forest, Duke, NC and NC State within 50 miles, some crazy recruiting stuff has to go on in that corridor.

Does that mean I want Davidson to win? Yes and no. I would love to see another "George Mason" in the Final Four just as much as I would love to see a KU/Tex@$$ rematch for the National Title.

OMG! If you ever get the chance to come to the Charlotte area, the town of Davidson is a MUST! I'm ten minutes from the town, and drive throught there once a week! It's a beautiful town, and a couple of great fine dining resturants. I drove through there today, and there's white sheets everywhere, GO CATS!!

Oh well, Just thought I would throw that out there!!
