Good find! (But almost hate to see this. I like it when we're under the radar.)

He also has climbed into most Heisman lists as a dark horse.

I agree sometimes it is better to fly under the radar. However, he deserves the accolades. With his stats he would getting massive pub if he played for TX, AL, USC, OU, etc. OU's Broyles gets more pub than Blackmon, and while he is really good, he can't match Blackmon's numbers. Oh, well. One of these days the program will be so good that we will start out ranked preseason like those other teams, and will get a lot more attention right out of the gate. The key is keep recruiting and keep winning.

If the Cowboys are ever going to be the team we want them to be, then get used to the attention. You can't fly under the radar and be in contention to win Championships at the same time.

You want to be the team with the target on your back. That means you are successful.

My favorite line from the article....

"This is the lite version of Oklahoma State replacing Thurman Thomas with Barry Sanders."

That line struck me, too. And who really saw this coming? I freely admit I didn't expect another superstar WR to step up to replace Dez that fast. Gotta give the kudos to our coaches and their impressive recruiting skills.
