I very much agree with you and don't think that they are close to a number 3 team. But they have beat texas and florida state, maybe not spectacular but none the less its something. I think they're more of a 15 type team based on how they've played (winning at least).

I very much DISagree with you.

I don't see many in the top 20 that have played a tougher schedule (Auburn and maybe... maybe Mich State).

I simply do not understand how you can make a statement like that based on actual results.

Look at Nebraska's schedule if you want to see somebody overrated. They reaaly haven't outrecrecuited us or palyed as well ovver the last 5-6 years and yet the first time they start winning they are rated #6. The good news is we play both UO and UN so we get to prove who is better. I still see a cahnce at 12 wins this year. We may not do it but it is there. I would think we will be favored against KSU, KU, and Baylor with UN a tossup and UO and Tejas are not as good as they normally are. I don't see them favored by more than a TD, if at all.

Fact is, they have one impressive win against a "ranked" team and that was the FSU win. Other than that they haven't done anything too impressive in my mind. The scraped by Utah State and Air Force at home, and they've beat a BAD UT team on a neutral field and a not very good Cincy team on a neutral field. I really think they lose this week at Mizzou (their first "true" away game of the year).

You're crazy if you don't think the UC game was a road game...the only reason it was moved from Nippert to Paul Brown Stadium is because PBS holds about 30,000 more than Nippert does...that was not, by any stretch, a neutral game...

The only reason people called the BSU-VT game "neutral" is because it wasn't being played in either team's home town...the OU-UC game was still in Cincinnati and in a bigger stadium than UC's (which, by the way, is tiny for a major D-1 program)...

Hey, I'm just saying it wasn't played at Cincy's "home" field, therefore isn't a 100% true road game. I never said it wasn't a tough place to play.

So the fact is Uo has STILL not played a TRUE road game all year after 6 games!!!!!

So do you consider the BYU game last year a 'home' loss?

Even more appropriate of an analogy would be is a Cowboys or Sooner game in the Ford Center a home game?

Again, neither of those are in the school's hometown and are treated by the school as a home game (meaning, the opponent only gets a certain allotment of tickets)...the game at PBS, OU had an allotment of tickets and a visitors section, with the rest of the stadium being UC with some OU fans scattered in here and there...that was a home game for UC (they put their really big name opponents there, because Nippert doesn't hold much, and for the most part, UC's fan showing for football has been poor, unless it's a big name opponent)...

By the way, that game was a Black Out game for UC...it was most definitely a home game for UC...

I agree as far as ticket allotment, but as someone who grew up in Del City, saying that OKC would not be the hometown of OU is not something I agree with. Norman is a part of the OKC metro area, and there are probably more OU fans in the metro area than there are in Norman proper.
