With 7 regular season games left and a bowl appearance, Dan only needs to average 5.6 points a game to become OSU's All-Time Leading Scorer! He had 18 points against the Ragin Cajuns!

Dan needs 67 extra points in a row to break the national record of 233. That would be about 9.5 extra points per game, a very tall order indeed.

I was a freshman, too, in graduate school. but I was young for my age.:rollseyes: His run against the Sooners was one of the most exciting noneventful runs I've ever seen. Basically all he did was outrun everybody badly. The first Cowboy running back I remember seeing in person was Walt Garrison. Not on the list but good anyway.

Yes, but Walt Garrison never outran anyone.......Pounded them into the sod but hardly ever outran anyone.

And I remember Terry Miller also.....I was a Freshman (the second time around after the stint in 1966) and the thing I remember the most was how nice a guy he was. Met him several times both on campus and off.
