Five games, and I still can't tell if we're sort of good or sort of bad....
Still love 'em, though! :orangeaid:

As long as they are winning, who cares?

The talent is there. It is just not very experienced. Too many mistakes, occasional lapses of judgement, etc. I think they are getting better, and if they can play a game without so many errors they may just beat somebody 80-14. I am impressed with how some of the young player like Randle and Harrison are getting into the game and making plays. This will help in future games where we may need somebody besides Hunter and Blackmon to step up.

Probably both good and bad, and, yes, we will find out in the next two weeks. But how many of us have ever watched an OSU team that repeatedly came back in the second half? Or a coaching staff that seems to work magic in their halftime adjustments? Those things usually happened in the halftime locker rooms of UT and OU.

OK, I'll be the one to stir it up a bit.
IMO, Holgorsen needs help in the running game. I hate running out of that diamond set. It doesn't let our hog mollies or Ward and Paulsen a chance to blow up the D-Line. Every yard Kendall is getting is by his own playmaking ability, cause there sure isn't room for him to do much. JMO.
We need to use Youman, which we did some last night but not much unless it was short yard situation. Give your All American a fullback AND a TE to block for him!!
Love the passing game. Blackmon is the real deal!!(From my hometown:)). Harrison seems like he's getting better. Anyiam needs to stay healthy and I hope Cooper gets ready to go fast, but that hit looked nasty last night, him being knocked out like that scares me for the kid.
Defense needs to do better pressuring the QB. Can't wait for Jarka to get back, Bassett is way better on the end than in the middle. We are missing Gent more than some know.
Overall, I think we beat Tech next week and will be a toss up against the Huskers. Wish I could go, it was the one I had circled on the calendar, unfortunately, I can't afford a 100+ dollar ticket. Oh well, I'll be cheering them on from the ol Lazy Boy

If we beat Nebraska even at home I'd say we are very good. This may be our best chance to beat Tech since the Big 12 was formed. They sure are up and down but this offense tends to depend a great deal on the QB, when he's hot their hot. We should win 9 this year, could win 10, and might win 12(excluding the bowl game). You can say you heard it here first.:koolaid:

We are terrible defensively. This team's ability to outscore teams in shootouts will define the rest of the season.

Yeah, the youth in the secondary is hurting us defensively.
It sure makes the future look bright, but in the here in now, they need to grow up fast.

It's 4:08 a.m. and you're posting "orange koolaid". You might have a little credibility problem with this one.:wow2:

Very good points - I think this is going to be the year that coaches earn their paycheck.
We're largely at an athletic ability level where there is no Big 12 team that OSU can't beat on any given day. But we're at an experience level where there are quite a few Big 12 teams that can beat OSU on any given day.
Comes down to coaching the individual matchups to ensure the best ability is on the field at the right time. Injuries have made it even more unpredictable, but in a trial-by-fire year the coaching staff has been carrying a lot of extinguishing agent.
So far the coaches have done as well or better than I could have ever imagined. I think we're going to look back in a few weeks and see that the aTm win was huge. I think they are going to win a lot of Big 12 games once they shake the turnover bug.

Oh no you didn't!
We're tied for 10th nationally in Turnover Margin... You might want to take a second look at who you thought was tied for first!

Thank you, I certainly didn't intend to make that mistake. Not sure how that happened. Just getting old and distracted.
