Tanner's dad's name is Rick.
Rick's dad still lives next to my mother in Broken Arrow.
Good Family.
They used to call Rick "Cowboy" at OSU.
By the way, look at the pictures on the right side. Rick is number "40" second row from the bottom.

Trent Wilkins, the son of former Cowboy Footballer, Tony Wilkins, will be lacing them up for Tulsa on Saturday as well.

I remember Rick. He was one bad dude. Pat Jones always talked about him as one of the toughest players he coached. Tanner seems like a good player as well.

I worked with Rick on the Sooner Power Plant north of Stillwater back in the summer of 1978...I thought he was a hoot, and really enjoyed it when I got partnered up with him. Ever since, he is one of my favorite "Cowboy". That's his picture over there in picture collage on the right margin, down near the bottom center wearing the number 40.

I love watching "Cowboy" Rick Antle do summersaults off of the field after a sack.

Rick Antle was my 7th (or maybe 8th) grade social studies teacher at Owasso Middle School.
I remember him breaking out the OSU game films a few times. I also remember him reading the daily lunch menu and trying to make it funny by intentionally screwing up every single word. Looking back that was probably because he was next door to Ms. Cariker (sp?) the English teacher and was not-so-subtly getting under her skin. Or maybe not. Who knows.
Probably not the lasting impressions he was hoping to leave on a pre-teen kid, but that's what I recall nonetheless...

I'm pretty sure I have posted this photo here before, but here's the entire photo containing the part over to the right...

Rick was an animal. He lost a nut in a game and continued to play! By the way, that is 4 tough dudes!
