Oh joy, another crappily officiated game. Here's a picture of the Aggie's last possession, which turned out to be a no call.

Shipp said he made a clean play and Love, who was originally given credit for the block, said he was not surprised there was no whistle.

"It was a tough call and at the end of games sometimes, and this sounds hypocritical after the Stanford game, but you can't call stuff at the end if there's not a lot of contact."

But way to go, Aggies. They led most of the game and really took it to UCLA. They just couldn't hold on at the end. Even though I have UCLA winning the whole tournament, I was yelling at the tv for TAMU to finish them off. That would've been a great upset to screw the vast majority of the brackets (well, more than they already are).

Let's be for real, here. I know the atm fans are going apeshit, but I'm sure the refs familiar with the situation were aware of 2 really bad end-of-game calls for UCLA recently. Also, let's put the shoe on the other foot - if it had been Collison driving and getting fouled, the atm fans would be screaming, "Don't let the refs decide the game," "Let them play," and "That's just tough basketball."

Good point Capt. Fans will be complaining depending on what team colors you have on... point is when you have the human element working for you sometimes mistakes happen.

I feel no sorrow for A&M.. having seen personally them get calls at end of games for football... :)

I hate A&M and their basketball "fans" so I thought it was a great call. :)

Maybe all the refs blink at the exact same time and they ACTUALLY didn't see the foul. It could happen.... :)

I wish somebody had a pic of the play a couple before that one...

Mbah a Moute practically takes off the Aggies players arms at the elbows on a shot under the basket, then the Aggies get the rebound and Love blocks that shot. The game was on the line at that time too.

and then again, the NBA found some ref's betting on their own games, why not the NCAA:huh2:
