I love it that the AP has enough nads to publish their votes. OSU got votes from two sports writers, KC Star and Lubbock paper. Interestingly, the Lubbock paper voted OSU 25th and left Tech unranked. Huh? Journalism integrity is real.

Actually no one deserves to be ranked. No one has proved anything so far with just one win or just one loss. Rankings on exceptions should just stop, but who wants to stop the fun of it. If it was just for fun, it would be all right.

I agree. I hate pre-season rankings. They're meaningless, but hard to overcome.

I agree. I like it the way the BCS does it and waits until most the games are played to start releasing the ranks. About the only thing the BCS does right.

The point of the post was that it was a Lubbock writer that gave us some love when he didn't give the dirt burglars any, which I found strange.
