Doesn't start off well as Tyler Shinn is eliminated in the consolation bracket after losing to Luke Smith 5-3.

Coleman is currently up 2-1

Coleman wins 9-4 and with the win becomes a 4 time All-American.

Morgan beats Manuel Rivera of Minnesota 8-1 and becomes a 3 time All-American.

Newly McSpadden won his first consolation of the day.

Jake Dieffenbach lost his match, so he's out. It's a shame for Jake. He started off the season so strong and after his knee injury, he lost a step and could never get back over the hump.

Brandon Mason won his first consolation match 8-0, so he gets some bonus points for us.

Jack Jensen also won, so we still have 6 alive at this point. 3 in semis and 3 in consolation.

Forgot to mention in that, Rosholt won his match against Iowa's Fields, so he's in the semis. He has been wrestling really strong, and goes up against #1 seed Fox tonight.

And to finish off the morning session,

Newly lost a close one to Cyler Sanderson, 3-2.

Brandon Mason and Jack Jensen both won. One more win for both of these gentlemen and they become All-Americans. They have their chance tonight. It would be so huge for Jack to earn AA with how he's progressed this season.

Coleman Scott won his semifinals match against Kennedy, so he's in the finals against Joey Slaton of Iowa.

Nathan Morgan lost a tough one against Ched Mendes 1-0.

Mason loses his match and misses out on being being an AA again.

Fortunately Jack Jensen wins 8-7 and becomes an All-American!

So out of 8 wrestlers, we came away with 4 All-Americans with only one returning for next year.

Rosholt loses a close one to #1 seed Fox 3-2.

Only Coleman in the championship tomorrow. We have 3 wrestlers in the consolation brackets and their AA placement will be determined tomorrow morning.

Jensen still has another match tonight, will update when I know.
