Is his status still up in the air for the bowl game?

If Reid is going to transfer (not saying he is or should, just if) who would be our QB in the bowl game if Zac's not ready?

I would hope that only being a bruised elbow, he should be ready to go. If we do make the Insight Bowl, he's got a month to recoup, so unless it's really severe, he should be back. Right?... Right?

I don't think his injury was too serious - just a bruised shoulder. I mean, I'm no doctor, but I would have thought he probably could have finished the game Saturday, but by the point he got injured, there really wasn't much point in him staying in.

In the paper today, Gundy said he was concerned about Zac's injury, but didn't really elaborate.

What's the date of the Insight Bowl? Is it after Christmas?

Good. That gives Zac a month to heal.

No one has ever said who #3 is and if there is an update?

I believe our #3 is Cate because from what I understand Weeden is redshirting. I haven't heard anything on the severity of the injury though.

Zac is like our "Waterboy"..

If he cant play we're in some serious trouble. Reid has one foot out the door.

Robinson should transfer too. Right along with Bobby. Hell, Fire Gundy, Fedora and Beckman.

Let me come in for half the money of all 3 coaches combined. I'll call offense, defense and yell at the media. I'll also be taking the snaps under center.

Yeah, that's what I'd do.

Actually, I never even saw "the" play where Robinson got hurt, but, I hope he'll be ready to rock when the bowl game comes around. I don't doubt the fight, heart and resolve of that kid. I wonder if his mom ever fed him chicken?

Yes i believe also that Cate is #3 but Robinson said himself he would be ready to go in the paper. I'm sure though with a month to heal he will be fine.

Cate is our number 3. And is still better than Zac or Bobby.

Now that I've got my shot in for my adopted player, I've heard that the Weeden kid is a stud and can really throw the long ball. Zac really can't do that from what I've seen, but then neither could Bobby.

Bobby can't throw deep? I think his ability to throw the deep ball is one of his best qualities.

Aww, heck Arfer....you're biased ;)

Haha, I am for sure, but I thought his deep ball ability was pretty widely recognized. Ah well, no big deal.

Agreed with Arfer here. Reid's never had problem throwing the long ball. Reid's only challenge comes with the 'on the fly' decision to run or pass...something that really stands out as a strength of Robinson.
