Heroes Finale tonight

An abbreviated season of Heroes ends tonight unless the writers' strike ends soon. Anyway, it ends tonight for at least a little while. I think they mentioned two heroes would die but on tv series... does anyone REALLY die?

Ok, so what did everyone think about the finale last night?

Well the main storyline arc I thought was pretty good. There was definitely more action in this finale than in last season's.

The whole storyline with Micah and Niki was pointless to me. The same goes for Sylar's arc. He might as well not even been part of the season.

And even though they killed off 2 heroes last night, people can always come back if they want through Claire's blood.

That's what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure they will bring Nathan back to life. Couldn't they use Peter's blood since he has Claire ability too?? Nikki I'm not too sure about since she was blown up, now if she somehow got out of the building and they found her body then she could probably be brought back to life too.

Ok, since the virus apparently didn't spread is it just back to stopping Sylar? Obviously the next volume is called "Villans" so is that going to be what the next season is about? What was all that stuff in the vault? What is the mother's power, does anyone know?

I think part of that was a result of the pending writers' strike. I think they wrapped up what they could in the short time they had and figured to resolve the rest after the strike.

Just one question: Did HRG shoot Nathan? I kind of think so as he probably sold his soul back to the company to keep his family safe.

The Claire thing about her going to tell the world who she is -- I never bought it. Wonder if it will mean anything to Claire when she finds out her biological father is dead?

I liked the confrontation with Nathan, Peter, Matt, Adam and Hiro. Pretty good scene there and I don't think we have seen the last of Adam. Not sure how Hiro pulled it off but pretty cool burying him alive.

I just as soon seen Maya dead. Other than her leading Sylar back to Suresh she is really a weak figure in the story.

I still would like to know if Mommy-dearest (Nathan and Peter's mom) has special powers or why she was a part of the original group.

Micah now has a new family - Monica's family.

And, yeah, Sylar is alive and his evil powers are back to full strength.

I think we'll see Nathan again. People on this show have been dead before and gotten over it. I think Niki is all blowed up though.

I don't think Hiro has a cold enough heart to leave Adam in a grave forever. He'll get him out eventualy or, possibly, Sylar will. Sylar knows a lot more now and you know he wants the healing power, something that has proven a bit elusive for him since Claire is always well protected.

I looks like mommy dearest ordered, or at least tolerated, Nathan's assasination. Peter is going to be pissed. Also - for the paradox lovers; where is Peter's girlfriend? He took her from now his past and then lost her in a future timeline that has been eliminated.

I think a nice family showdown is coming between Bob and the lightning tramp next season. Another family disfunction is going to have to be dealt with between Micah and his cousin.

I bet Peter's girlfriend is not part of the story anymore so they won't have to try to explain where she is or if she is still alive.

What are Bob's powers?

Nathan was shown getting shot, didn't show him die.

Peter needs to meet Maya and the little girl, then he can find Sylar and use Mayas power against him.

On a side note, I've always wondered if Peter has the Haitian's powers. They've obviously met, but since the Haitian can block the powers of those around him, if Peter's acquisition ability is blocked too. He's obviously never shown using any of his powers, but that's not to say he does or doesn't have them.

I'd have to surmise that he doesn't because it would make him way too powerful as any opponent Peter is facing would be powerless. It wouldn't make for exciting fights.

I don't like all the dying and coming back to life stuff...I think it plays on the emotions too much. once or maybe stretching it twice, is OK, but more than that is way overkill....

I think I read that they were going to shorter chapters this year as a result of not leaving too many open ends over the christmas hiatus, not necessarily the writers strike.

The last few episodes have been a lot better.
