You could not pay me enough to see it, and i like Ed Norton and Tim Roth. I slept for a hour in the first one and did not miss a thing.

Tim Roth swears it is better; he turned it down supposedly twice until he actually read the script. I love Tim Roth.

It looks like the same face of the Hulk in the first movie and the creature he fights looks like one from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I don't know. The script has to be better than the first one. I might go see it.

Is Hollywood COMPLETELY out of ideas? Let me guess, next years summer blockbusters will be "Murder She Wrote" or "Golden Girls"??
Good Grief.
The first hulk movie sucked 9 kinds of ass. It was HORRIBLE. This one could be better, I dig Ed Norton.
But like OSUFan said, the face is exactly the same as the first one. So now, Hollywood is too lazy to make an original movie, they are also reusing old cgi? They could have at least made it look similar to the character playing Bruce Banner. dang.
Sorry, but my expectations couldnt be lower for this.
CaptMike: I love Tim Roth.
More than David Robinson?
:D

Um, I don't get the comment, but I'm much more a Duncan fan than a DRob fan.

I was actually doing some reading on this... It's not that they are out of ideas at all, in fact some say the quality and originality of the spec scripts floating around is better than it ever has been. The issue is the financial risks and rewards.
Established "franchises" are really popular now because the built-in appeal of many of them practically guarantee a big opening weekend. Like it or not, that is still the most effective financial model for the studios. Sure DVD sales and TV rights make up a huge chunk of the revenues - in fact more than ever - but that is all propped up by a big open.
The risks of an original screenplay are huge on the other hand with nothing guaranteed. Unless there are big name producers, directors, or actors attached to a script from early on studios look at anything original as a HUGE risk. It's not that those won't get made, the bar is just that much higher.
As a huge film fan all of this kills me - but I see light at the end of the tunnel. Technology is going to continue to decrease the cost and complexity of making and distributing movies, and that will serve as a powerful counter to the current big studio mindsets.
