KC Star reporting Nebraska to Big 10

LINCOLN, Neb. | The University of Nebraska has accepted an offer to join the Big Ten Conference, The Kansas City Star has learned.

Late this morning, Nebraska officials contacted the Big Ten office, informing the league of the decision. Nebraska will become the 12th member of the Big Ten.

Yep. And would they have reported something before the regents met? Seems unlikely.

KC media is doing all it can to keep the Big XII together. They have the most to lose with their three local teams getting screwed.
