I guess basically my "measurables" are Big-12 Titles, Divisional Titles, and Bowl appearances (generally indicating winning seasons).
So my thought would be:
1. Stoops - Has won 5 Big-12 Titles, Bowl game every year.
2. Brown - Has won 1 Big-12 Title, Bowl game every year.
3. Pinkel - Has won 1 Division Title. 4 Bowls in 7 seasons.
4. Leach - 8 Bowls in 8 Seasons.
5. Mangino - 3 Bowls in 6 seasons (including one BCS apperance).
6. Gundy - 2 Bowls in 3 seasons.
7. Hawkins - 1 Bowl in 2 seasons.
8. Prince - 1 Bowl in 2 seasons.
9. Chizik - No Bowls in 1 season.
New hires:
* Pellini - One Bowl win as interim Nebraska Coach in 2003.
* Sherman
* Briles
So only three Coaches currently in the Big-12 have even won a Conference Divisional title.
Thoughts/Opinions?

I would put Leach over Pinkel because he has been so consistent in a much harder division of the Big 12. Put Tech in the north for the past 8 years, and surely they would have won at least one division title.

I agree with you in principle, but I would give a little weight to what Dan Hawkins did at Boise State, to flip flop him with Gundy.
Also, I would put Briles ahead of Chizik, because of the rebuilding job he accomplished with Houston.
Pelini and Sherman are basicly untested at the college level. So, I would agree not to rate them.
Looking at this list, makes me feel even more that Gundy will have to step up his game (which he is capable). If we want to contend for the Big 12 with him as our coach.

You're not doing this raking any justice unless you rank Mangina 6, 7 and 8. He's in his own weight class.

That seems pretty good. I'd put Hawkins ahead of Gundy right now only because of past success and how the two teams played this year. I'll leave Gundy ahead of Prince although there's not too much difference between the two but I like Gundy more than Prince.
I think Chizik has a chance to move up but by the time that happens he will get another job. ISU played tough this year even though they were severely out manned this year.
