Rowdy Outlaws
Oklahoma State has had a rowdy following for several of its games this season.
The Outlaws, a group around 10 guys comprised of OSU students and Langston football players, have attended the majority of Cowgirl games this season, including Bedlam in Stillwater and the Cowgirls’ first- round loss to Missouri in the Big 12 tournament.
On Saturday, several Outlaws wore black T-shirts that read: "Ma’am in the orange shirt, you have an amazing bat.” Throughout most of the game, the Outlaws encouraged the Cowgirls while showering Missouri players, coaches and fans with "M-O-U-S-E” after Missouri fans chanted "M-I-Z-Z-O-U” and the "left-right” chant as the Tigers’ third base coach walked back and forth from the dugout. They even showed their signing skills with their own rendition of Garth Brooks’ "I got friends in low places” in the top of the fifth inning.
After a Tiger fan pointed to the scoreboard during the OSU game, the group decided to stay and sit behind Texas’ dugout to cheer the Longhorns while continuing to heckle Missouri during the final semifinal game of the night.
