Former Bush adviser plans visit

Karl Rove, former senior adviser to President George W. Bush, will be in Oklahoma this month to autograph copies of his book and to help raise money for the state GOP. Rove will sign copies of his book, "Courage and Consequence,” on May 17 in Tulsa and in Oklahoma City.

He will sign books from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Borders Bookstores in Tulsa and from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Borders Bookstores, 3209 Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City.

Rove then will appear at a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Republican Party at the Oklahoma City Marriott, 3233 Northwest Expressway. Individuals may pay $5,000 to take part in a roundtable discussion with Rove at 5:45 p.m., pay $250 to attend a reception and dinner or $75 for the dinner only.
