very nice... looks perfect for this offense.
star system or not, he's rated the #4 TB in the country, and I can only ever remember 1 other 5-star recruit (Lance Carson)... and he never made it.

IF it sticks... sensational. He must be thinking he can come in and take over when Kendall leaves. And if he does, more power to him. Orange Power, of course.

Actual quotes from the Tech board:
"Yeah I don't get it either man. All I can think of is Tech must have pulled his offer for some reason. Must have some character issues or something. No way he would have ever seen the field anyway. "
"oSu cheats.. plain and simple."

In addition to everything else, they invented BS.

Tceh (sic) fans are utterly delusional. They are making aTm look almost sane.

I just love the multi-layered response from the first Tech fan.
I'm truly starting to think there's some kind of psychosis-inducing drug in the water in Lubbock. Talk about your unrealistic delusions of grandeur. Why do they have such an inflated perception of their status in the world?
And welcome to the Cowboys, Mr. Sims!

There was even an entire thread on my Spurs board about how people may not like this or that fansbase, and its mainly a UT/atm group of posters, but pretty much everyone completely agreed they hate ttek fanbase.

Congrats on the commit, but I must say I'm pretty surprised...he didn't seem to thrilled at the idea of living in Stillwater after his visit to your junior day...but again, congrats...
I guess this means OSU will be offering his cousin??
dawg...as you showed us with Bros in BBall, sometimes you have to offer who ya have to offer n'est pas? Besides the cuz would be a great quick slot back WR for the Pokes...huh?

From TW:
While it has become fairly common for OSU to sign four-star prospects in recent years, it is believed that the Cowboys have signed only one high school prospect with the five-star designation.
In 1997-98, Stillwater High School quarterback Matt Holliday was a five-star recruit. He signed with OSU, but was drafted in June 1998 by the Colorado Rockies and chose to play professional baseball. Holliday now is the St. Louis Cardinals' left fielder and a three-time All-Star.
According to the Rivals and Scout archives (both of which date to 2002), Oklahoma State signed two junior-college transfers who were five-star prospects. Both were defensive tackles — Lance Carson in 2002 and Ryan McBean in 2005.

... so the TW reads the board and did some research... lol.
I didn't follow the services back in 1997 (Holliday), and McBean was a 5-star DE, but we played him at DT...
good find.
Hey, I KNOW they read the boards and use the questions and ideas found on them for story ideas. You see it all the time.
