I have my doubts. I'm still not convinced that Ford is the answer but I guess he'll get more of a shot than Sean since he is Holder's pick. BTW, didn't we have a shot at Udoh when he left Michigan but lost that when Holder fired Sean? Hmmmm....

I'm proud of Butler, I think that's awesome baby!!!!! :D


I sure hope we're back there in at least 5 years, but I just don't see it in the current system we run. I really think you need one or two true big men(6'10"-7').

I want to see Ford do something with his own recruits. So far, Eaton last year and Anderson this year have carried us. I think Sean recruited both of those guys.

I am also concerned with our lack of defense. All the talk on ESPN tonight is how Butler won the game tonight with defense. I would love to see that attitude back in Stillwater.

Defense is about effort. You can see when Butler plays defense that they are putting 100% of their heart into it. They aren't doing anything that we don't do or other teams don't do as far as schemes go. They just want to play D. That's something we haven't had from any of our teams since Eddie was here IMHO. We'd be fine on the D if we can get the players to buy into it.

I'll be pulling for Butler. And I haven't given up on HCTF yet. There is some good talent returning in Stillwater. Moses, Pilgrim, Penn, Franklin, Page, Sidorakis and who knows about the newcomers. Pilgrim and Moses both have the potential to be All-Big12.
Sean left for a reason and it wasn't his coaching ability.
