I was on my way home from baseball practice on Wednesday, listening to the radio (99.3 here in east texas) and the spokesman on the sports radio program on the radio station started to describe the "special" guest that would be calling in after the break..

Here were the words used to describe the guest caller-

1. a writer
2. a well respected reporter
3. well knowledgable in basketball and football
4. a honor to have as a guest
5. a guy to look up to in the field of journalism

I was thinking...hmmm...must be Dicky V or maybe the Jean guy who is so popular in Texas from Dallas Morning News...

Who does it turn out to be???

Pistol I was thinking the same thing... why would Texans care about a writer from the Daily Jokelahoman.... We aren't even close to the Oklahoma Border for most listeners in this EAST TEXAS area to even know who he is....
