I was getting ready to post a reply and a screen came up for me to log in. Does this program automatically log you off or is something wrong with my new laptop?

Who knows? Nobody else has let me know they are having that same problem, so i don't know. If it continues, send me a pm and i'll look into it

From now on, if you'd post things like this in the customer service forum, one of the mods will check asap.

Ok, I didn't know there was a place I could do that. Thank you.

Well, it happened again when I was logged in. I typed a private message, and when I went to send it, I got this screen:

Yes Dortha it has happened to me also. I just put it down as being old and not typing very fast. I figured that I was lulling the board to sleep :D

But hey, I am so damn happy to be back here with friends I don't care.

:):):):):):):)

Well, just tried sending a PM to the same person again and got the same thing. Any idea what is causing this?

Is anyone else having this issue?
Fortunately, I have never had it happen.

I wish I knew the answer.

If it is just a few folks this is happening to, I guess an admin can check settings on your profiles. There could be something simple hosed up.
If it isnt a setting on the profile, I would assume it could be am Internet Setting on your computer.

That is just a guess though.

If anyone else is having this issue, please post here, and we will do our best to resolve the issue. Thanks.

I too got logged out. when I was trying to post a message. From what I know of forum software systems this one may be setup to use cookies. if so then it may have a short amount of time you can not be active. The way this program works typing a message isn't active. I don't know if this program has a place where you can set the time time or not.

The admin can goto the software's forum and look for answers there too.

have a great day!

Crazyhorse, I was thinking that maybe there was a time limit on being idle too, like on Yahoo Messenger.

Happy Friday, everyone.

Jack - I just looked at your time settings and they were on Casablanca. Watch any Bogart movies lately? :-) You should be fine now.

Dortha, when I first logged on to the forum, I checked the 'remember me' box. If I leave the browser on oss all day then come home, I'm still logged in. Please log out and when you log back in, check that box (I wouldn't check that if you were on a public machine, like at a library or internet cafe though). Try that and let us know how it goes. If that doesn't do it, we'll have some strong words with the bulletin board. :-)
