but I found out the OSU Board of Regents at their meeting on Friday issued a memorial resolution honoring my Dad. I heard Calvin Anthony had some nice things to say about my Dad. I'm hoping to get the minutes of the board meeting so I can share it with my Mom and family.

Bill Halley. He was Director of Architectural Services for OSU and the A&M Colleges from 1971 to 1986 when he retired. He died January 23rd of this year.

I got a copy of my dads, he was associate dean and director of eng. research. I am sure they knew each other

Frank, since your parents and OSU Fan's parents were all such good friends of my mom and dad, I'm pretty sure they knew each other. :)

yea, here we are running around hiding behind our "handles" never knowing there are a bunch of us SHS grads who's parents were best friends.

anybody else out there? small, small world

the other funny thing is I have had 2 people within the last week I have not heard from in 4/5 years

frankeaton, you are so correct! I got something in the mail yesterday. It had a letter from President Hargis (that sounds strange), it had the resolution and a few other things. I'm going to give it to my Mom since she said she didn't get anything in the mail. Maybe they send it to the person who is still employed at OSU because I would think my Mom would have received it before I received a copy. Oh, well, Mom will get my copy.

Once the minutes are posted, I will print those off for Mom too.
