38 points separate Andrea Riley from the All-Time Leading Big XII Scoring Title!

That title could come as soon as this Thursday during the first round of the Women's Big XII Tournament as 7 seed Oklahoma State faces 10 seed Kansas at 5 pm!

Riley has scored at least 38 points three times this season, 44 points vs. Michigan State on 11/28/09, 43 points vs. Baylor on 1/9/10 and 38 points @ Baylor on 2/20/10.

Andrea scored 30 points against @ Kansas on 1/12/10.

No they won't. They'll seed the team based on what they accomplished this season, not Andrea being out one game. Now, it's entirely possible Andrea will not get to play at all in the NCAA tournament this year, but her absence will not affect seeding.

Why is Andrea not eligible to play in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney?

Andrea has to serve a one-game suspension issued by the NCAA after she hit an LSU player during the 2008 tournament.

The suspension specifically stated she had to sit out her next NCAA tournament game. Since the Cowgirls didn't go last year, it carried over to this year.

I just hope whoever gets OSU in the first round is overconfident because of her absence, and that the rest of the team steps up enough to win.
