My son was watching game day this morning and they had a locker room special piece with uo at OSU. Crapel exclaims after the game, "Let's get it together and get the hell out of this hell hole."

You have to also remember he's not used to being in a place where there are over 17 fans for a game. And ones that actually pay for tickets,not get them thru a giveaway with a free t-shirt. Oh well,chances are good that after this season,he's gonna go to S.Carolina,and be the head cock. He'll fit that role just fine.

I may be wrong here but I didn't take his comments as a compliment that it was like playing in hell at GIA.

I interpreted his comments as calling GIA a hell-hole of an arena.

I usually reserve that description for places like uo's field house, bad parts of town, etc.

Could be wrong tho. If he meant he was glad to get out with a win in a full, rowdy arena then there was no offense taken.

Secondly, if you coach at OU.. you really have no room to talk about hell hole area's or buildings

and Third, he probably meant heaven not hell becuase we actually have fans attend our boys games... unlike Noble Center where even in big games you can sit on one side of the area, shoot a rocket to the other side and still not hurt a soul.

This probably isn't the year to be bragging about our attendance. We had plenty of games where the arena was less than half full and never had a game where it was totally packed. Even KU had a few thousand empty seats.
