Erick,

I have a Fat Tire clone in my secondary fermentor as we speak. Tomorrow I'll keg it, so by the 14th it should be in great shape. I leave for Philadelphia next week, but I hope to jump on a Hefe Weizen when I get back. That only takes only a week or two before they are ready to drink.

I think I have solved my mystery issues during fermentation, so I hope to bring a beer everyone can enjoy. Probst!

We are still looking for some volunteers to help out. The main thing is that we bring in a bunch of people and show them what OSU tailgating is all about.

If anyone posts on Rivals or Gopokes, I would appreciate someone posting this up there too.

I hope your wife doesn't read the board. She doesn't deserve to find out about your peccadilloes right here in public.

I've abdicated shot duties to Randy and the rolling mini-bar. He did a fabulous job all last year. I pretty much just bring the JD-ettes and provide a little obnoxious comedy relief.

And you do a damn fine job of doing it! You also have good tastes in beer and fine smoked swine.

Oh trust me, she knows how much I love beer. Very few things would surprise her. :food-smiley-004:

That's Very Little I might add.

I'll be there to help cook and to help drink! Is Scottie hauling the smoker to town? I can talk to Jeff J. about using Scotties old smoker or I can bring my gas grill. Is ChiefPoke in charge of cooking?

We need to get a fairly good estimation of who is coming so we make sure there is enough meat/beer. If anyone is planing on making it please let me know!

Mr. SeaofOrange, I will take you up on that offer. It is sitting in my kegorator carbonating right now. I think it turned out real nice.

Received email from Becky at Orange Power and she spoke with Debbie McCarthy @ OSU about registration for the Ten Run. Debbie suggested they set up on the south side of TBS due to construction issues on the north side.

I believe the registration will be from noon to 2 PM, should anyone be interested.

The Ten Run registration is just one of the many events (Big 12 baseball, tennis) that will be held during the day of the spring game.

As in Ericks previous post, we are 15 days and counting from the spring game. Anyone have definite plans on set-up or attendance to the tailgate please post for head counts.

+1 and an empty gut. I've had my liver and kidneys on a strict off-season workout regimen. It's going to be a great year for football and tailgating. WooHoo!

Right now we are looking at having 35+ people. I hope to have a game plan set up this weekend.

I hear ya, my strength and conditioning program has no breaks. If you want to be in the big leagues you have to work at this sort of thing year around. With St. Patrick's day and Oktoberfest so far apart, you just cant afford to slack up. :food-smiley-004:

So far we are looking at around 40 people for the tailgate!

I am going to smoke two briskets and probably three racks of ribs the night before. We may be moving it to the South side due to construction and ease of access/exposure. As soon as I get some free time, I'll post some the major details.

My keg spoke to me in a dream last night. He said that he is ready to face his destiny in Stillwater. It has been a real challenge for me to stay away for the kegorator.

No, I believe the keg told you, "I am waiting for SeaOfOrange." That, or he's waiting FOR a Sea Of Orange. Either way, he's Skeered!!!

Great! We are trying to work out some of the little details now. There is a very good chance we will be moving to the Southside to make thing more convenient for everyone. (Construction, Run) Once I get a few responses from some folks we will make it final.

I just want everyone to know, if by chance Saturday comes, and it is one huge unorganized cluster, I want everyone to know it will be my fault and I recommend drinking early. With that said, we have some very good qualified people helping out here. No matter how many people, 25 or 100, we will certainly enjoy the day.

Also, we still need a big grill/smoker to heat the smoked meats and cook the sausages/franks. I have one, it's just heavy and not on a trailer.

Have we got any idea if Scott is comiing? Jeff J. would probably come thru with his grill.....???????????

Erick,

Maybe it's just me, but something sure doesn't seem right with your map. I don't know that I can put my finger on it, but it seems like our stadium is bigger than the one in the map. That one looks more like a high school stadium. Hmmm... oh well. :cowboy: :food-smiley-004:

That's why we are tailgating on the South side. Apparently there are too many cracks in the concrete and they had to redo the slab. Unfortunately, this meant tearing down the entire WEZ. I stand by my map.
