OU gets fifth seed in the Big 12 Tournament.
Oklahoma State's 72-68 upset of No. 8 Baylor on Thursday night and No. 17 Texas A&M's 73-59 win over Oklahoma gives the 20th-ranked Cowgirls the third seed and bye in the first round of the Big 12 Women's Basketball Championships.
The tournament opens Tuesday at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City with the Sooners, the defending tournament champion, playing in a first-round game.
As the No. 5 seed, No. 11 Oklahoma (21-7) will face No. 12 seed Missouri at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Oklahoma State (23-16) will await the winner of the Nebraska-Kansas game in an 8:30 p.m. Wednesday game.
Kansas State earned the top seed followed by No. 2 seed Baylor, No. 3 OSU and No. 4 Texas A&M.
The top four seeds receive first-round byes.
