well... we needed to finish .500 in conference... it is still "mathmatically" possible... (CC crosses fingers)

What is a .500 record in the conference needed for? You aren't still dreaming of an at-large bid without winning the Big 12 tournament are you? We got easily beat at home last night by a decent, but not spectacular, team missing their best player.

Yes... that is still on "our" agenda... but winning in Austin is no easy task...

I understand your disappointment with the loss to the goons, but conversely, we beat Kansas just a few short weeks ago... a spectacular team, with their best players.

Hey .. we just went from longshot to "not quite written off" so I'm gonna keep pumping sunshine until the 16th.

Sure, Austin is not the best place to climb back to .500 and the Big12 tourney is hardly a cakewalk but until the slections are done and I don't see us in there.. I'm gonna keep grinnin!

Also, the way the season looked a few weeks ago -- I would also consider the NIT to be a LOT better than *just* a consolation so I have some fall-back sunshine to pump too. :)

I agree with you all the way, Keith. No matter how it turns out, it still looks better than I'd have ever dreamed 3 weeks ago.

I'm with you. I'm proud of the way this team has fought back from the cellar of the Big 12 three weeks ago. I just don't think we have much of a chance, if any, of getting an at-large NCAA bid. NIT is definitely better than what it looked like a few weeks ago. I'll probably even go to the game if we host it. I was so disgusted with the way last year's team played at the end of the season, I decided not to waste my money to buy an NIT ticket.
