About 5 years ago, Vicki fell down outside of GIA on her way to a men's basketball game. I took one look at her arm and KNEW it was broken in at least one place and maybe two. She would not leave the game, she was supposed to meet JL3 after the game and didn't want to miss that meeting. I went to the first aid room to try to find something to brace her arm with and the only thing I could find was a phone book. I took the phone book, bent it around her arm and made a little splint and sling. She stayed for the entire game. What a trooper. Having broken a few bones in my life, I know when the bones are not aligned, it's very painful. You'd be amazed how much better it feel after the bones have been set back to where it's supposed to be setting.

I think it would be a nice tribute to Vicki if everyone here who knew her posted some nice or funny stories about her.
When I have lost loved ones, I know that laughter always seems to help the grieving process.
Unfortunately I didn't know Vicki well, but I could tell she was a person that had a good sense of humor so I know there has to be some good stories that will make Michelle and the family smile.
I only have two little tidbits.
First is the photo below from the Georgia game. She was so fired up for OSU football that day. It was awesome. She was really into the gameday experience!
Second, is from the Tech game. One of the front wheels on her chair blew out, so she had to pop a wheelie the rest of the day. She was a hot rod momma! heh heh

Please post your thoughts and funny memories for Michelle and the family. I know they need to smile!
God Bless you all.

Running down from our seats to celebrate every cowboy score with her during the Georgia game.
Her being as excited as my girls are to see Pistol Pete.
Her kindness, and her strength and courage during these past couple of years.
She was a great lady, and she will be greatly missed.
I remember how Mimi had a kind and friendly word for or about everyone in the OSU family.
When Michelle and I decided to take the plunge and buy this board, Michelle told me the first thing Vicki said was "Well I'm glad you're doing that- I really like her!"
She had a sweet and loving heart, and really liked EVERYONE.

We got to spend a lot of time with Vicki and Michelle over the years. I say a lot, probably not a lot, but quite a bit. Shopping at affair of the heart, or at the fair...going to watch parties, and enjoying tailgates and getting to sit with them at the football games. We had a lot of fun.
Unfortunently we spent a lot of time at hospitals too. Visting Vicki and the family. She was always happy to see us, and in good spirits, even when you knew she was hurting and feeling like crap. She was truly an inspiration. We will miss her.
