It's all McAfee's fault! Had some issues lately with suddenly not being "protected", mostly on morning boot, but once online a couple of days ago. I download their "virtual technician", run a check, and everything is ok. The next step is "chat", so I go there; chat with Azeef (who has the problem "clearly" explained in my file), and the best I get after 15-20 minutes is it's a "busy server" problem. Not the answer I expected, but what the hell.

Got a customer survey from Mc a couple of days ago, but didn't complete it until last night. I ripped 'em....so.....

call comes in today from "unknown/unknown", can't decipher the name in the message, but...the McAfee Indians are after me!:eek::D

You should probably just set the cpu out on the front porch, lock the door and close the blinds.

Ditch those pay to use anti virus programs.


http://www.freeav.com is 100% free and is one of the best out there.

All the IT folks at my workplace reccomend it. Ive been using it for a couple years & its great!
