What a fantastic year it's been! We're 9-3, second place in our division, and headed to a top Bowl Game! Our players have had to break through quite a few barriers they hadn't expected to encounter what with injuries and a players stupidity to deal with, but they played their guts out EVERY game! It was a great year to be a Cowboy! But then again, aren't they all!!!

Sure we stumbled a couple of times, but losing to Houston, and UT is nothing to be ashamed of with the year those two teams have had.

This year's Bedlam was the biggest disappointment I've experienced in 40 years of being a Cowboys fan. I just don't understand it, can't wrap my mind around it, but it's time to just swallow that pain and move on. We'll just have to beat 'em in every other sport, and of course quality of life in general.

Mike Gundy's a good coach. I'm not Gundy's biggest fan and his flaws seem to be exposed tenfold during big games, but we are moving forward. I think Gundy's just so much of an egotistical &$%$##$% to listen to anyone but himself, but MAYBE this asskickin' will shake some humility into his mellon and he'll learn from it and grow as a coach. Time will tell to see if that's the case, or if it as my grandpa liked to put it; "Some lessons are learned forever, and some are forever learned." One thing though. As disappointed as we are as fans, NO ONE wanted to win this game more than MG.

Great job this year Pokes! Thank You Seniors!!!!!

Sometimes it's hard to see how good things really are with OSU football right now after a bad loss and unrealized expectations. You hit the nail on the head. The general state of the program is on solid footing. My freshman year we had Thurman, then Barry the next. And we know what happened after that. We have most definitely risen from the ashes to be a relevant, winning program. This success is no flash in the pan; I believe it will continue. When you look at where we've been and where we are now, we should be proud!

Every time I see that stat that this is the first time OSU has won 7 games four seasons in a row, I have to do a double take. Our football history is one of neglect, sprinkled with good seasons here and there.

Thanks for the good post. Thank you, seniors! Has any other 5 year span of football been as good as this group's?

Ride 'em, Cowboys!

I'm trying to make myself feel the same way. That beat down we took Saturday is hard to get over. I do feel like the Program is making progress, recruiting is getting better, etc. There were several games we won this year that I think we would have lost in past years. Gundy is SLOWLY maturing as a coach and I am hopeful that he will eventually tire of being HC and OC and will hire someone else to call plays.

I am not ever going to be like OU fan (expecting championships every year) but I would like to see us avoid the down cycles of past years and at least occaionally beat OU or TX. I guess it shows how spoiled we have gotten...I used to be happy if we just had a winning season or got to bowl!
