TBP stadium is beautiful, is laid out really nice, and has lots of concessions/bathrooms...so much better than OU's. But holy crap, their stadium gets so damn loud. I was blown away by their crowd today. 20k more fans in the stadium makes a huge difference in sound. The only thing I like about their stadium over ours is that they have game stats up the entire time, updated constantly.

Quinn Sharp is the man. He had a rough first half, but kicked some monsters in the second half. And he ran his butt off to try and tackle Broyles. It's sad that he has had to make a TD saving tackle (or almost make one) two games in a row. He is awesome and I'm glad we have him.

The OU fans around me were all fine. They gave me good natured grief, but I didn't hear anything nasty the entire day. The guy next to me knew our team pretty well and was respectful.

I was in the NW corner and our band was in the SE corner. They did a solid job at halftime and throughout the game.

WTH was up with all those injuries? Did Booker blow his knee out? Which of our players crumpled late in the 2nd half on kick coverage? I couldn't see his number and didn't hear the announcer. Did Toston get hurt?

It looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking. Man, it is hard work being a Cowboy fan. Maybe next year...

Well, we just got back from the game. Also had no problem with the sooner fans.

This was our first trip to Norman. I was surprised that there didn't seem to be a "visitors" section at Owens Field. Looked to me like OSU fans were scattered all around the stadium with the only solid collection of orange being the band. Kinda hard to be heard when you're just specks of orange strewn throughout the stadium. I like BPS for its aesthetics, but Owens Field is impressive for its size and loudness. Great college game day atmosphere. Felt the same when we went to A&M.

Painful, disappointing game to be sure. Not much more I can say about that. Hopefully, it won't be the last game I attend this season. Let's end the season on a positive note! Go Pokes!

The visitor's section is in the south endzone...there are two corners of the south endzone that is given to the visitors, as well as part of the east side stands right where the band is...

I think one thing you're seeing with OU fans this year is a big dose of humble pie, which is why I would guess it didn't seem like anyone was really being true jackasses to opposing fans...

The one thing I love about Owen Field is that it creates a great atmosphere...I know OU hasn't been beating a ton of world-beaters there, but there's a reason we've only lost 2 games at home in 10 years...it's loud and impressive when the fans are completely into the game...

It's good to hear you guys had a good trip to Norman...
