So last night I was at a Trivia night fundraiser up at St. Benedict High School, where my daughter goes, and there were a variety of donated gifts. One of the donations, which was to be presented as an open auction, was a pair of tickets for tonights game. Not just regular nose bleed tickets, but two tickets, 10 rows up, right on the mid court line. They had advertised it enough and included the time, that there were people that just showed up for the auction.
Minimum bid was $350.
Bidding was spirited
Eventual winner is one of my fellow OSU alums here in Memphis, Clay Kegal. I think he graduated in '91. Likes his basketball.........Got them at $1750.00. He is a big Memphis B'ball fan and was ecstatic to say the least.
I ask him if he was going to take me along but instead he is taking his girl friend :(.

That is the kind of excitement that is generated when Number 1 plays Number 2.
