OSU fifth, OU seventh in Big 12 baseball poll

Oklahoma State is picked to finish fifth and Oklahoma is picked to tie for seventh in the upcoming Big 12 baseball season.
Defending champion Texas was picked to win the conference in the poll of league coaches. The Longhorns received eight of a possible 10 first-place votes.
Oklahoma State is coming off a 42-21 season in which the Cowboys fell one win short of advancing to the College World Series. OSU was 16-11 in the Big 12 and finished third.
OU was 34-24 overall and 11-16 in the Big 12 last season. The Sooners finished seventh in the conference.
The Big 12 has 10 schools with baseball programs. Colorado and Iowa State don't have teams.
