STILLWATER -

Oklahoma State University is now offering its football season ticket renewal campaign on line for the second consecutive year following great success in 2007. Many fans have confidence and optimism because of increased interest and excitement in the football program spurred by the Cowboys’ dominant victory over Indiana in the Insight Bowl.

In its second year, OSU offers an online season ticket purchasing program and simple payment plans aimed at making it as easy as possible for current Cowboy season ticket holders to acquire their 2008 season tickets. The payment plans provides flexibility and convenience.

“We had a tremendous response last year from Cowboy football fans who told us they wanted a more convenient way to purchase their season tickets with payment options,” said Craig Clemons, associate athletic director for external affairs. “This fan-friendly approach to season ticket renewals, coupled with no increase on season tickets and donor seating, supports our goal to accommodate loyal fans as the football program continues to improve.”

The two plans offer a choice of either four or five installments with the first payment not due until either March 1 or April 1 depending on the plan. When using one of the online payment plans the final payment is not due until July 1, 2008. Season ticket holders preferring to purchase their tickets in full have until May 1, 2008 to make payment.

Details on the OSU online season ticket purchasing program are available by clicking on the ticket icon on the OSU athletic website at www.okstate.com and following the instructions. Information is also available by calling toll-free 877- 255-4678.

“Season ticket and donor seating revenues are important because they fund daily operations, which include paying down and eventually eliminating our debt,” added Coach Mike Holder, Athletic Director. “While our budget is still ninth among our Big 12 conference peers, the expanded, state-of-the-art Boone Pickens Stadium bodes well for us long-term.”

OSU will open its 2008 football season in Seattle against Washington State on Aug. 30. The following week the Cowboys will host Houston in the first home contest in the re-invented Boone Pickens Stadium. With seat capacity of 60,000, OSU’s stadium is now the sixth largest in the conference.
