Both Texas and Kansas are 9-2 in the Conference with 5 games to play.

Kansas remaining games:
Feb 23 * @ Oklahoma St
Feb 27 * @ Iowa State
Mar 1 * Kansas St
Mar 3 * Texas Tech
Mar 8 * @ Texas A&M

Texas remaining games:
Feb * Oklahoma
Feb * @ Kansas St
Mar * @ Texas Tech
Mar * Nebraska
Mar * Oklahoma St

- Texas of course has the head-to-head tie-breaker over Kansas by virutue of their win over the 'Hawks in Austin.

So, any opinions/thoughts with regard to which team you expect to have the 1-seed in the Big-12 Conference Tourney? Seeing how I think it is very possible that OSU finishes in the #8/#9 seed position for the the Tourney, the 1-seed will very likely be the OSU opponent should OSU advance from the opening round.

I expect Kansas to go undefeated the rest of the way, while Texass will probably lose two games.

I think KU will beat KState, but I think KState will beat UT at home and I think KU will lose another game (they usually do - prolly @ atm last game of season).

This will make a 3-way tie at 13-3. Divisional ties are broken 1st, and KU's other 2 losses were UT and atm, while KSU lost to Mizzou. This means KU over KSU (3) and UT (1) over KU (2).

Interestingly, if ISU can beat KU at home then KSU gets the #1 seed (comparison of record against the highest ranked teams in the division with ISU being the 3rd in the north) UT #2 and KU #3. Don't see that happening, tho.

If UT loses 2 and only KU and KSU are tied, KU gets it (if they lose to atm) and KSU gets it (if KU loses to ISU).

I voted for UT.

I voted for UT as well....

Kansas still has to play three road games compared to two for Texas. Biggest challenge for Texas is the game @KSU. If they can get by that, I think they've locked up the 1-seed.
