June Jones has hooked the jumper cables up and got the ol' Mustang to kick over. They're tied with Houston at 4-1 in league play and 5-4 overall, with Utep, Marshall, and Tulane left to go. Looks like this will be the first time since the death penalty they go bowling. I wonder where they may wind up playing? (Yeah... I know a kid on the team, and his brother keeps askin' me. :rolleyes:)

Hmmm... a bunch of wealthy alumni with a first time in what, 15 years bowl appearance in Hawaii? Seems like the Hawaii bowl might finally sell a few tickets. Good for SMU anyway, it's about time. When we talk about a slow rebuilding process we should think of these guys.

No kidding about the slow rebuilding process. I always thought June Jones was nuts for taking the SMU job. Yeah, road trips are hellacious, but it's Hawaii! And he was doing pretty well there.
