Hey, so I'm interested in the direct to TV options. I am assuming I need to buy some ssort of equipment to get it to TV? I have a wifi network, so I can do it that way.

Does it work well?

Can you play the movies and stop and rewind, etc?

Is it worth it?

What are some good devices to get?

Is there a better service than Netflix?

It works great and yes you can rewind and fast foward.

The main drawback is the selection, but it is getting better day by day.

It will work on most new Samsung and LG blu-ray players, all Xbox's and PS3's(coming to the Wii soon) , the Roku device and a few LG tv's.

For the price and ease of use there is not a better service out there.

I have been using netflix on my 360 for a while and love it. And now the PS3 is getting netflix as well, but if you don't have either of those, you can get a $100 box called a Roku.

The biggest draw back right now is that steaming does not give you digital surround sound.

As far as a better service, there is none. Blockbuster has a similar mailing system but they do not stream videos.

I have a Wii; when will it be coming to it? My Wii is already on wifi, and you can download 'apps' for Wii whenever. Surely since it is already wifi I won't need a whole new system right?

Wii is just a rumor. It's much weaker than the other consoles so I'll believe it when I see it.

I can also get netflix streaming through my TiVo in addition to my PS3 and my xbox if I wanted to pay the ridiculous $50 to micro$oft every year to play games online.

Ok, but I don't have a ps3, xbox or tivo. I have a HD DVR thru my local cable mafia.

Then this is the cheapest option you have unless you want to wait for the Wii option that could arrive next month or a year from now.

Also, the Wii won't do HD so it won't look as good as the other options do on the HD material and probably a little worse on the non-HD stuff as well.

Actually I just read an article that Wii was supposed to have done it already but are now waiting for their HD roll out to do it.

Which there has been no concrete info about that so who knows. I read the same articles and it seemed like a lot of speculation with no real facts to back them up.

I dont know how the wii will do it with out a SD card, it will have no where to buffer the videos.
