I just got back from the game. There was a really solid crowd tonight - I'd guess around 6k-7k fans. The ISU team reminds me of our men's team; they live by the three (excepting our last two games). When they are hitting like they did in the first half (9-18 threes), they're tough to beat. We could not stop them in the first half and spent all of our energy evening up the score in the 2nd half. We got really close, but rushed some shots at the end and had some bad bounces. Andrea and Taylor had pretty rough games.
It's a good thing that we 'stole' some games on the road to make up for this loss. We'll be back, but this was a tough loss.
It was former Cowgirl basketballer day. They had maybe 40-50 former players back and had them out on the court at halftime. I wish they would've introduced them individually, but it was good to see them back.
The OSU drumline performed at halftime...nice job, Exit!
