One week off for MBB

So does one week off before Kansas hurt our 2 game momentum or help us?

We have never come out and played well after a week off, even the 2004 squad. I really wished we were playing Kansas this Wednesday.

I think it helps us.

The jubiliation of getting that Monkey off our backs needs some time to settle in, and let the players settle down a little bit.

A few days of practice and they should be back down to reality and ready to practice for KU the last few days (I'm really glad they don't have to travel this week and loose the practice time this week).

KU is KU, a week off, a month off, back-to-back, it dosn't really matter they are going to be good and tough to beat no matter what.

I think the guys having a few days to revel in their recent success before getting seriously back to work can only be a good thing.

If we lose to KU, I would not think it was because we didn't have time to prepare, or that we lost our momentum... KU is a fine ball club and we really only have an outside chance of beating them regardless of anything else.

I think we're capable of beating them, but they have so many that can take it inside, and they're very good from the outside... we're going to have our hands full trying to contain them.
