Nassau Bahamas

Going to be spending 4 days there in April at Atlantis on a company trip.

We want to extend our stay another 4 days, and are looking for recommendations of where to stay other than Atlantis.

Any suggestions?

Any "do not stay here under any circumstances" places?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just be careful around the casinos and disco's there. Took my two college age daughters there last summer. I got drugged and they attempted to roll me......but I was too tough.....never went down for the count.

Reading what I wrote, it would seem that way.

No, but I was damn sure glad my daughters were there to rescue their old man, who couldn't take two steps without falling flat on his face. Whatever drug was slipped into my drink was one nasty experience (not a euphoric feeling either).....just completely incapacitating.

It's called Rohipnol and that's what AceFin uses to get all of his dates. They can't say no, when they're sleeping. :eek::D

Never been to Nassau. I've been to the Bahamas twice though. I've always gone to the same island. Great Guana Cay off of Marsh Harbour. It's a very small remote island that is a blast to just unwind and drink frozen concoctions and eat lots of lobster, grouper and Conch.

Yeah I was there on a cruise ship. The RIU has a resort next door to the Atlantis. I would check on that. Definitely stay on that little Paradise Island and not on the main island.

Why not stay at Atlantis the entire time. The other hotels in the area will be just as much with not as much at your disposal.
