Many of you probably saw this on your local news. Richard Zednik's throat was cut by his own teammate's hockey skate blade. The link is below -

He looses quite a bit of blood (5 pints) but the on sight medical personel saved his life. He is doing fine now.

Same thing happened in the same arena just a couple of seasons ago, but it was Buffalo's goalie. The highlights of that accident were much worse and much more graphic. You could just see it spurting out and he was trying to cover with his hands but it wasn't working. Literally made me sick to my stomach...
