I saw a picture online this morning where the student union is selling Blackout shirts. So I guess the school's behind it now. F-Nike! Take your Evil Pete and Cowboys 4Ever and all it's bad karma and leave us alone.

The school's not behind it, Holder said there will be no black uni's at this game.

No! It is a display for blackout t-shirts to benefit the United Way. It is not being endorsed nor sold by OSU. THE ONLY t-shirt being sold for the OSU/Texas game is an orange shirt with a spider web on the front with a longhorn stuck in it. We bought one for my sister-in-law who is an OSU graduate and is living in Austin.

I know I saw it, I wasn't dreaming... Was it in the O'Colly? Now I can't find the damn picture.

STILLWATER, Okla. – With many inquiries coming into the Oklahoma State athletic department regarding a “blackout” for this week’s game against Texas, it should be noted that OSU encourages its fans to wear orange to the game, but will not discourage the student-generated movement for a blackout.

“We are excited about the passion of our fans and our students and they have come out in record numbers to support our football team this year,” OSU Assistant VP for Marketing and Enrollment Kyle Wray said. “Our official stance on a blackout is that we encourage our fans to turn Boone Pickens Stadium into its normal Sea of Orange against Texas.

“The students did approach the athletic department about a blackout for this game. Our response was that if the students are excited about wearing black to the game, we will certainly not impede their efforts.”

I couldn't care less what you wear. Show up, yell loud, and support our Cowboys.

O tempora, o mores!

It's been a refrain for centuries, if not millennia...

i don't mind the blackout thing for ONE GAME, against a team whose colors are already a horrible bastardization of orange. i am wearing black to the game, but there will not be a phantom pete or the words (and number) cowboys 4Ever in sight, i assure you. of course, i am partially wearing black due to the fact that i am mourning dez. :(

Amen!!! We need it so loud they can't hear themselves think.

I am hoping the pent up anger over the NCAA's ruling on Dez spills out through the crowd and the team and Texas walks into the biggest firestorm of a stadium that they have ever seen. Basically, a BPS version of shock-and-awe!
