I just heard this today, The parking permit for Staff around ag hall is going up to 150 to park in these lots. If you want the lower 65 fee then you must only park in the new parking garage.

Does anyone know if this is true or not? Also Will OSU over sell the number of parking spots they have? I bet they will just to pay for the building.

Why is OSU penalizing there staff for working at OSU?

I haven't heard that, but will ask a friend of mine who works over there.

For a while you can park around where Scholars inn used to be for free. As far as the prices change, the parking lot west of the library will be permanently closed except for handicapped spaces and it is the intention of the twenty-five master plan to eliminate all interior campus parking except for Whitehearst for the presidents office.

I know people will gripe about that, but they need to visit a few other campuses and realize just how unheard of it is to have on-campus parking...anywhere. Getting rid of the parking lots will help enhance the already stunning architectural and landscaping beauty of our campus.

I completely agree, I moved here from Norman so I know how cheap and close OSU parking is. To see really bad parking also check out Texas A&M campus.

I park behind the Business Building and Morrill Hall. If that goes up too, I'm willing to pay it because I would rather be 5 minutes from my car in case of an emergency.

It's nice to see that the decision-makers won't get rid of THEIR lot though. :-)
