Wasn't on TV here. Don't really have much to offer since I didn't see it.

It looked like a scrimmage. Weather was beautiful, and the Baylor fans were great. Gundy's play calling was what it was. Once again we had a chance for a drive right before half and he went super conservaitve and we had to kick it away.

Offense looked good, Zac was right on with his passes, I think Anyiam (sp?) will have us asking "Dez who?", next year. Toston gets better the more he plays.

It was impossible to tell anything from this game because Baylor was just weak. However they never gave up, and have some great players.

Great road trip

I could tell from the opening drive that Baylor was completely outmatched. We only scored 34, but we could have hung half a hundred on them easy.

would have been nice to have used the chance for 2 min OFF. Get a bigger lead early in 3rd Q then rest Toston and Co. But Mike is Mike. Nice job overall by players and coaching staff. Now it is time to get ready for the biggest game of the season. Just because it is the next game of the season.:koolaid:

I sat and waited in the chatroom for a while, but no one ever joined me.

Btw, I was able to watch the game online on JustinTV.

A very workmanlike victory.

With ou winning and UT routing MU, I expect a week full of ou coverage especially with Bradford's surgery possibly Tuesday. OSU will play the underdog role in Oklahoma and the national media and don't expect anyone to think or predict OSU to upset UT. It will be fun Saturday and a whole lot of people will be shocked when OSU beats UT.

Note:

OSU 34, Baylor 7 in Waco
OU 33, Baylor 7 in Norman

Cowboys win (ever so slightly) by a wider margin IN WACO than OU did against Baylor at home in NORMAN.

Deano just said ou can win the rest of their games and go to the Big 12 Championship. The hype begins. Oh, yeah... told ya!

"chirp, chirp"! Scrimmage started too early, interrupted by airport run to bring "adult supervisor" home, combined with general indifference.:party-smiley-018:

First of all, that is not exactly true. If OU and Texas win the rest of their games, TEXAS goes to the Big-12 Championship via the head-to-head tiebreaker.

So, I guess Texas would have to lose TWO of their remaining games (snow ball chance in hell of that happening) AND OU would have to win out (also unlikely) in order for OU to play in the Big-12 Championship.

Looking at games remaining, I think both Texas and OSU are more likely Big-12 Championship game candidates before OU.

I agree. I am just amazed that one victory over an overrated KU team fuels the ou propanganda machine. I'm surprised they aren't talking about ou being back in the national championship picture.

If those stinkin' Swooners backdoor into another Big 12 championship game I'm going to pass a brick.

Surely we can get Tech to destroy all hopes of that before we go into Norman.

Of course, going into Norman and beating the Swooners, knocking them out of a Big 12 share would be the sweetest victory of all.

They don't deserve to be anywhere near the Big 12 championship game.

Hard to comment on the game... barely anyone got to see it (If you own Directv like me, then no one got ot see it)

It seems like we dominated the game but didn't really seem to try and run the score up or anything... Saw Toston had a good game... other than that... can't say much.
