I sure wish we could have one more year of Lucien. The man is a beast on the field. Sexton+Antoine+Booker= PAIN

Some great quotes out of that story:

Every day, he's out there to work and if you are not out there to work, you are distracting him from his work and he doesn't take lightly to that.

and A good hit sounds like a car crash.

Will they attempt to get a medical hardship for last year?

I know he redshirted in JC, but he only played one game or two last year, right?

It wont hurt to file for one I guess.

I think they will, he played less than 30 minutes of football last year. I just don't trust the NCAA to do anything that makes sense or is conceived as rational.

I liked this part the best:

Said Sims, "Lucien appreciates every minute of every day that he has an opportunity to play football. Other guys think it's a right. He appreciates a scholarship and meals and books and his bed. He appreciates everything. He will tell you it's hard to believe they are really paying for his education to do what he is doing."

Surely they will apply unless he's going to the NFL.

My favorite too. After he graduates, they should have him come talk to every incoming class of recruits and tell his story.

As far as a medical redshirt. If he has 6 more big games his draft stock may be high enough he won't want one.

Worst case, he could beat the crap out of someone and claim alcoholism to get that extra year of eligibility.

Yeah but if the punisher did this the person would likely not live... :cool2:
